Whether you are a student, a member of staff or a third party, you can choose to report either anonymously or by providing your contact details. Your report will be directed to the relevant Human Resources, Student Casework or Governance team.
Reporting with Contact Details
If you choose to provide your contact details, a member of the relevant team will be in touch with you within two working days using your preferred method. They will offer support and explore any steps you may wish to take, including formal processes or informal resolutions.
This report will remain confidential, and the information contained in it will only be passed on to relevant and specifically trained staff members on a strictly need to know basis. By submitting your report with contact details, you are agreeing to the use of your personal information as explained in SOAS' privacy policy.
Reporting Anonymously
If you choose to report anonymously, you will be able to communicate with a member of the relevant team via anonymous messaging if you wish. You will have the option to consent to anonymous messaging and receive a code to log into your account. The appropriate team member will then be able to offer support and advise on next steps. They will get back to you in two working days. Find out more about anonymous messaging here.
Anonymous reports help us to build a broader picture of issues affecting our community. These reports provide statistical data that support our efforts to monitor trends and take preventative action on bullying, harassment, discrimination, hate crime and sexual misconduct.
